Lincoln Unified Teachers Association
Our Association has many purposes. One of them is to represent LUTA members in our relations with the District. These could be in regards to issues that are related to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment. Our Bargaining Team does an excellent job of this under the leadership of our Bargaining Chair, Ed Bonilla.
Another purpose it to advocate for the professional needs of our LUTA members. The way that we accomplish this is through our Liaison Team that meets monthly with representatives from the District to discuss concerns that our Association's members may have. Lori Allen, our Liaison Chair, does continues to do an outstanding job in this position.
One more purpose that we have is that we want to encourage cooperation and communication between our Association and the community. Our goal is to accomplish this through the new Organizing Team that we are developing under the direction of our President, Janet Olmstead and Liaison Team member, Bruce Roberson.
